Payroll Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist with a minimum of 2 years of experience to manage and process employee payroll accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with company policies and local labor laws while maintaining confidentiality and efficiency in payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process end-to-end payroll for employees on a regular schedule
  • Verify attendance, working hours, and pay adjustments
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure data accuracy
  • Handle statutory deductions, benefits, and reimbursements
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies
  • Prepare payroll reports and reconcile discrepancies
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance teams for employee data updates
  • Respond to employee queries related to salary, deductions, and payslips

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of payroll processing experience
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems and MS Excel
  • Familiarity with local labor laws and statutory requirements
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with payroll software
  • Professional certification in payroll or HR (a plus)
