Payroll Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist with a minimum of 2 years of experience to manage and process employee payroll accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with company policies and UAE labor laws, including WPS (Wage Protection System) requirements, while maintaining confidentiality and efficiency in payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process end-to-end payroll for employees on a regular schedule
  • Verify attendance, working hours, overtime, and pay adjustments
  • Prepare and upload payroll files through the WPS (Wage Protection System) in compliance with UAE regulations
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure data accuracy
  • Handle statutory deductions, benefits, and reimbursements
  • Ensure compliance with UAE Labor Law and company policies
  • Prepare payroll reports and reconcile discrepancies
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance teams for employee data updates
  • Respond to employee queries related to salary, deductions, and payslips

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of payroll processing experience (UAE experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems and MS Excel
  • Hands-on experience with WPS processing
  • Familiarity with UAE labor laws and statutory requirements
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, etc.)
  • Professional certification in Payroll or HR (a plus)

Note: Male candidates preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to AED4,000.00 per month
