Payroll Specialist

PGH Excavating, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong payroll processing experience, including knowledge of prevailing wage and certified payroll requirements for public works projects.

Responsibilities:

• Enter and Process weekly payroll accurately and on time
• Make Payroll Tax Deposits
• Pay Garnishments
• Manage prevailing wage calculations and compliance requirements
• Prepare and submit certified payroll reports
• Maintain employee personnel files
• Benefit enrollments

Experience

• Proven experience in payroll management
• Familiarity with accounting software, preferably Sage Accounting
• Knowledge of tax regulations and benefits administration procedures
• Minimum 2 years relative experience

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
