Job Purpose:
To perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI), vehicle assembly, and basic maintenance for motorcycles, ATVs, and other units, while assisting with stock organization, storage, and inventory control to ensure smooth delivery operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) & Assembly:
- Assemble new motorcycles, ATVs, and other vehicles according to manufacturer standards and specifications.
- Conduct thorough PDI checks including mechanical, electrical, and visual inspections before delivery.
- Identify and report any damages, missing parts, or discrepancies to the Supervisor immediately.
- Perform basic mechanical adjustments, oil changes, and battery installation when required.
- Ensure all safety and quality control standards are followed during assembly and inspection.
Stock & Inventory Management:
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming units, ensuring proper documentation and reporting any issues.
- Assist in updating stock records, unit status, and movement in coordination with the parts and logistics team.
- Maintain organized storage of units in the warehouse or yard as per the layout plan.
- Support in physical stock counts and reporting stock discrepancies.
- Tag and label units accurately to maintain proper tracking and identification.
General Duties:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Use tools and equipment responsibly and report any maintenance needs.
- Follow company health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Support workshop and logistics operations as needed (vehicle movement, delivery preparation, etc.).
Qualifications & Experience:
- Technical Diploma / Certificate in Automotive or Mechanical field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in motorcycle or ATV assembly, PDI, or stock handling.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and safety inspection procedures.
- Forklift license or experience handling vehicles is an advantage.
- Basic computer skills for stock and report updates.
