Pediatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Physician Assistant (PA) – Full Time

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physician Assistant to join our growing healthcare team. The PA will provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of medical conditions, in collaboration with the supervising physician. This role requires a professional, friendly, and patient‑centered approach, as you will be a primary point of contact for patients and families.

About the Role

The Physician Assistant will manage all aspects of patient care, from initial evaluation to ongoing follow‑up. You will work closely with the supervising physician and clinical staff to ensure high‑quality, coordinated care. This position includes opportunities for professional growth, mentorship, and hands‑on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed patient histories and perform physical examinations for consultations and follow‑up visits.
  • Assess patient needs and develop care plans in collaboration with the supervising physician.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including imaging and laboratory studies.
  • Review results and consult with the supervising physician as appropriate.
  • Prescribe and dispense medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Document all patient encounters in the electronic health record within 24 hours.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to maintain and update medical and nursing protocols.
  • Coordinate care with external providers to support continuity and quality of care.
  • Participate in after‑hours coverage, including evenings and weekends, as requested.
  • Maintain organized, accurate patient information to support ongoing care.
  • Communicate with the supervising physician in person, by phone, or by text to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current or eligible Arizona PA license.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient‑centered care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑based environment.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
