About Your Team

The People & Culture team partners closely with business leaders, project teams, and employees to ensure HR processes are delivered accurately, on time, and in line with company standards. We support the full employee lifecycle across multiple projects and geographies, ensuring compliance, data accuracy, and a positive employee experience at every stage.

This role works closely with the Senior P&C Specialist, department heads, and operations teams across the UAE and KSA, supporting both office-based and project-based employees.

Your Role

As a P&C Officer , you will provide end-to-end HR operational support to the ALEC FIT OUT business, including:

Onboarding & Orientation

• Coordinate with the central preboarding team to receive all new joiners upon joining
• Manage post-joining formalities including medicals, visas, ILOE, IT access, ID cards, and system access
• Track and follow up with internal teams and service providers to ensure timely completion of joining formalities
• Prepare and maintain onboarding and orientation checklists
• Prepare and circulate bi-weekly new joiners announcements

Employee Relations & Engagement

• Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and day-to-day workplace issues
• Support employee engagement initiatives and regular staff check-ins
• Prepare and circulate the monthly birthday calendar
• Escalate sensitive or complex issues to the Senior P&C Specialist

Manpower Planning & Coordination

• Coordinate manpower movements with Heads of Department and Project Teams in line with approved plans
• Maintain and update manpower planners (staff and labour) for all live projects
• Track Internal Transfer Forms and ensure approvals are completed within agreed timelines
• Monitor labour shortages, surpluses, absenteeism, and upcoming requirements
• Support disciplinary actions related to absenteeism in line with company policy

Offboarding & Attrition Management

• Maintain a master offboarding tracker
• Ensure exit clearances are completed prior to the final working day
• Coordinate and record exit interviews
• Prepare monthly attrition reports with key metrics
• Coordinate with Head Office to ensure all offboarding formalities are completed accurately

Probation Management

• Send and follow up on probation review requests at three- and five-month milestones
• Maintain probation trackers and escalate delays or issues as required

Reporting & Data Management

• Maintain HR trackers, dashboards, and databases using Excel and HR systems
• Prepare weekly and monthly HR operational reports covering onboarding, offboarding, manpower, absenteeism, and staff costs
• Provide ad-hoc reports to the Senior P&C Specialist and management
• Maintain up-to-date employee profiles and CV databases

Logistics Support

• Coordinate travel, accommodation, and visa arrangements for employee mobilization, including assignments outside the UAE

What We’re Looking For

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

Experience

• 3–4 years’ experience in a People & Culture or HR role
• Experience within a project-based, construction, or fit-out environment is preferred
• Exposure to fast-paced, operational HR environments

Technical & Legal Knowledge

• Working knowledge of UAE and KSA labour laws, visa processes, and employment regulations
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and HR reporting

Skills

• Strong organizational and follow-up skills with high attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong focus on confidentiality and professionalism
• Advanced Excel skills; Power BI knowledge is an advantage
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
