People Business Partners are strategic members of EnviroServe's People Team who embody our culture and core values and can support group teams. Deliver a full spectrum of both strategic and tactical support and programs to the organization from educating Leaders on compensation practices, labor and Team Member relations, performance management, career development to advising on various management issues. The role supports and models the one-team people culture and our values of “Embrace Diverse Perspectives,” “Keep Everyone Safe,” “Live with Integrity,” and “Make it Happen.”
Job Responsibilities:- Closely partner with business leaders to align on the People strategy.
- Business Knowledge: Ensure depth of understanding of organizations supported, including key functions and processes.
- Investigate Team Member issues and conflicts and bring them to resolution
- Assist with the annual performance management and compensation process
- Participate in Greenfield and Acquisition activities to ensure a smooth transition and positive team member Experience
- Collaborate with VP, People to create and publish Team Member Engagement Surveys
- Organizational Development: Support and work with business teams to understand current and future goals and trends that may impact workforce needs and initiatives.
- Proactively engage with leaders on people strategy through workforce planning, organization design and structure.
- Support appropriate talent planning activities that will identify talent, leadership development priorities, and succession plans.
- Focus efforts on accessing development needs and promoting a learning environment which supports on-the-job opportunities.
- Leverage coaching skills to assist Team Members and managers through development and performance matters.
- Special Projects: Develop and work on special and cross-functional projects as identified.
- Training: Understand the organization's training/development needs and act as liaison to deliver or secure appropriate training to the organization. Author and deliver curriculum for identified People Team training.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven performance as a strategic People Business Partner
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Foundational understanding of People Team analytics and experience with People Team systems & tools is essential
- Effective communication and influencing skills
- Highly collaborative style
- Resourceful, inventive, self-motivated, and able to independently lead
- Ability to coach, mentor and advise where appropriate to help managers and Team Members grow and develop in alignment with business and personal goals
- Impeccable judgment and ability to balance the needs of the company and Team Members alike
- This position is based in Fort Worth, Texas, with an expectation of being in the office 3 to 4 days per week. Occasional travel (up to 30%) may be required depending on business needs.
