The role of a People & Communications (P&C) Business Partner is to manage the people and communications for their assigned area of responsibility. They work towards achieving KONE's business objectives and ensure that the people and communications agenda aligns with the company's current and future business needs. This role will be based in the KONE Riyadh office, and the P&C Business Partner will report to the People & Communications Director for the Middle East, Türkiye, and Africa region.
What will you do?
Business Partnering – Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business objectives and direction. Translate business understanding into people and communications priorities. Advise and coach business in decision-making and contributing broadly to leadership team agenda and discussions.
Strategy Deployment – Successfully define, drive, and own the P&C agenda so that it is aligned with KONE’s strategic direction and develops KONE as a great place to work.
People Operations – Work closely together with the People Operations team to make sure local requirements are covered by the services delivered by the People Operations team.
Engagement – Own the Unit engagement agenda and drive local priorities. Partnering with CoE, managing the engagement survey, and driving action planning. Support managers in actions increasing employee engagement.
Culture, Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity – Play a leading role in KONE culture development locally according to our strategies. Owns with the business development and execution of diversity, inclusion, and equity agenda.
Internal and External Communications – Plays a key role in making sure different aspects of internal and external communications are well represented in the P&C agenda. Active collaboration with Communications CoE to get expertise and deliver support to make sure we are ongoingly strengthening and protecting our reputation and brand and building a uniformed KONE story.
Workforce Planning – Together with business, analyze and forecast the workforce needed to achieve business plans. Develop approaches to meet those needs, lead and support in related actions, e.g. planning sessions, identifying critical workforce segments, identifying risks and contingency plans.
Organization Development and Capability Building – Identify opportunities for supporting strategic direction through organization design. Support and consult the business when undertaking organizational changes and needed restructurings.
Employee Relations – Providing guidance and support to managers on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive work environment.
Leadership Development - Identifying leadership development needs, creating, and implementing leadership training programs, and coaching managers to enhance their leadership skills.
Talent Management - Identifying and addressing talent gaps, succession planning, developing career paths, and implementing performance management processes.
Employment Lifecycle Consultation – Guide and support business in employment and labor law. Ensure compliance and consult with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
Health and Wellbeing – Partnering with HR CoE, advising the business on health & wellbeing strategy and topics. Understand the Unit’s situation in this area and develop approaches for improvement.
Union and Labor Relations – Together with business and a dedicated labor relations expert, drive labor relations topics, e.g. negotiations and grievances. Ensure the compliance of the activities and strive to eliminate potential conflicts of interest through awareness building.
Annual People and Communications Processes – Collaborate with different teams to ensure smooth delivery of annual processes, focusing on outcomes and impacts of these processes.
Are you the one?
M.Sc. or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
6 - 8 years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in a multinational company
Excellent influencing and communication skills with diverse experience in coaching and developing talent and teams
Experience with senior-level stakeholder management
Experience handling the full HR lifecycle processes including but not limited to talent and performance reviews, rewards management, employee engagement, and relations
Fluency in English and Arabic language being a must
Open to frequent travel within KSA
