Job Summary

The People Operations Manager will oversee People Operations, ensuring compliance with multi-state employment laws and regulations while fostering a positive work environment. This role involves talent acquisition, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, and People Operations strategy alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • People Operations Compliance & Policies: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws across multiple states, including FLSA, FMLA, OSHA, and EEO. Maintain and update HR policies and employee handbooks.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a resource for managers and employees, addressing workplace concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Performance Management: Implement and oversee performance evaluation programs, employee development initiatives, and succession planning.
  • Compensation & Benefits Administration: Manage benefits programs, including health insurance, 401(k), and wellness initiatives. Conduct salary benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation.
  • Training & Development: Develop and coordinate employee training programs related to compliance, leadership, and professional growth.
  • People Operations Systems & Reporting: Maintain HRIS systems, track key HR metrics, and generate reports for leadership.
  • Workplace Culture & Engagement: Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Organize employee engagement activities to boost morale and retention.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Experience in multi-state HR management, particularly in Florida and surrounding states.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and applicant tracking systems (ATS - Paycor).
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English required
  • Experience in property management or real estate industry preferred but not required.
