People Operations Specialist

Izmir, Turkey

We are seeking an empathetic and detail-oriented People Operations Specialist to guide new employees through a seamless and supportive onboarding process.

This role will ensure new hires feel welcomed, confident, and set up for success within their roles while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for new employees during the onboarding phase
  • Assist new hires in completing employment documents, including contracts, tax forms, and other necessary paperwork
  • Coordinate with internal departments (HR, IT, Administration) to ensure all onboarding steps are aligned and completed
  • Respond promptly to new hire inquiries, ensuring a positive experience and addressing any concerns or challenges
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and legal regulations
  • Occasionally perform other HR related duties and responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • At least 1 year of professional experience (entry-level experience or internships are welcome)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Experience with HR software or tools is a plus
  • Friendly, proactive, and supportive attitude with an ability to handle sensitive information professionally
  • Availability to work in the İzmir office

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in HR or onboarding
  • Familiarity with employment laws and workplace regulations in Turkey
  • Passion for creating a great first impression and supporting new team members' success
