Job Title: Per-Diem Medical Courier

Job Summary:
We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented Per-Diem Medical Couriers to support prescription and medical supply deliveries on an as-needed basis. This role is ideal for individuals who require flexibility while remaining available to step in when coverage is needed, including call-offs, volume increases, weekend routes, or special delivery assignments.

Couriers will operate a company-provided vehicle and serve as a trusted, professional representative of Kind Carrier in the field. This role requires consistent reliability, responsiveness to scheduling requests, and a strong commitment to patient care standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick up and deliver prescriptions according to assigned routes
• Operate a Kind Carrier company vehicle safely and professionally
• Maintain strict patient privacy and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
• Handle medications and medical supplies with care and accuracy
• Communicate clearly with dispatch regarding route updates and delivery confirmations
• Follow all company safety, compliance, and delivery protocols

Requirements:

• Valid New York State driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and navigate stairs or multi-unit residences
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Availability to accept shifts with short notice when needed
• Professional, dependable, and customer-service oriented

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in delivery, pharmacy, or healthcare logistics
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance
• Calm and compassionate demeanor when interacting with patients and caregivers
