Job Purpose

The role is a subject-matter expert responsible for driving process excellence, digital transformation, and continuous improvement across Company’s procurement and supply chain function. The role independently evaluates and enhances practices against global benchmarks, ensures compliance with governance frameworks, and introduces innovative solutions to optimize efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and resilience. Operating as an individual contributor, the role partners with stakeholders across functions, delivering measurable improvements and providing data-driven insights to influence leadership decisions.

Context

The Performance Specialist – Procurement & Supply Chain operates in a dynamic, VUCA environment where efficiency, compliance, and agility are critical. With ongoing transformation initiatives, the role is key to standardizing processes across diverse teams. The specialist will be expected to navigate legacy systems, siloed practices, and evolving stakeholder expectations. Success requires strong analytical capability, cross-functional collaboration, and a proactive approach to improving performance. The role's contribution is in refining and maturing operational practices to ensure they are robust and strategically aligned with organizational goals, setting the stage for long-term success.

To strengthen EKFC’s procurement and supply chain performance by leading the evaluation, improvement, and digital transformation of processes in line with global best practices. The role ensures regulatory compliance, embeds a culture of continuous improvement, and drives the adoption of innovative systems and methodologies, enabling the organization to achieve operational excellence and future-ready supply chain capabilities.

Key Result Areas

  1. Evaluate and benchmark procurement and supply chain processes against industry standards and internal frameworks, identify gaps, and recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and operational excellence.
  2. Lead the implementation of new and improved processes by engaging stakeholders, ensuring seamless adoption and secure buy-in for new operational methods.
  3. Help embed a culture of continuous improvement by standardizing processes, policies and compliance frameworks to deliver measurable outcomes.
  4. Ensure all procurement and supply chain activities adhere to regulatory, compliance, and audit requirements, proactively managing risks and mitigation strategies.
  5. Define and manage Procurement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), track performance improvements/outcome, and present data-driven insights to support leadership decision-making.
  6. Partner with Performance Analysts, Sourcing team and cross- functional stakeholders to design and implement process optimization strategies that improve operational and financial performance.
  7. Lead structured change management and capability building initiatives, training programs and user engagement programs to ensure sustained adoption of new processes and systems.
  8. Monitor day-to-day procurement and supply chain operations to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, or deviations from standard procedures, and implement corrective actions to ensure smooth, lean, and cost-effective processes.

Education Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in process improvement such as Lean six sigma
  • Advanced training or coursework in procurement, supply chain management, or relevant disciplines is a plus.

Work Experience

  • 6 years of experience in process improvement/Value Stream Mapping positions preferably in procurement/supply chain function.

Skills

  • Strong leadership skills to manage, develop, and motivate a team effectively, with experience in performance management and employee engagement.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and suppliers. Strong interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong change management capabilities with proven expertise in driving change initiatives, stakeholder buy-in and behavior change linked to new process adoption.
  • Strong expertise in value stream mapping (VSM), workflow analysis, and redesign of procurement and supply chain processes.
  • Certified in Lean and/or Six Sigma with a proven track record of applying these principles to drive measurable improvements.
  • Understanding of procurement and supply chain flows, with the ability to embed best practices and ensure regulatory and policy compliance.
