Job Title: Pest Control Technician

Job Summary

The Pest Control Technician is responsible for carrying out pest control services in residential, commercial, and industrial premises across Abu Dhabi. The role includes inspection, treatment, prevention, and reporting in compliance with Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) regulations, Tadweer, and UAE health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections to identify pest infestations such as insects, rodents, termites, and other pests.
• Perform pest control treatments using approved chemical and non-chemical methods as per Abu Dhabi Municipality guidelines.
• Safely handle, mix, and apply pesticides in accordance with UAE regulations and company procedures.
• Install and maintain traps, baits, monitoring stations, and pest control equipment.
• Provide preventative pest control solutions and recommend corrective actions to clients.
• Educate customers on hygiene, sanitation, and pest prevention measures.
• Prepare and submit service reports, treatment records, and compliance documentation.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in good condition.
• Respond to customer complaints and emergency pest control requests when required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school certificate or equivalent.
• Valid Abu Dhabi Municipality Pest Control Technician license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Knowledge of ADM-approved chemicals and pest control practices.
• Minimum 1–2 years of pest control experience in the UAE preferred.
• Ability to read and understand basic English (Arabic is an advantage).
• Physically fit to work in confined spaces, heights, and outdoor conditions.
• Valid UAE driving license (light vehicle) is an advantage.

Work Environment

• Residential villas, apartments, offices, restaurants, warehouses, and construction sites.
• Indoor and outdoor work under varying weather conditions.
• May involve shift work, weekends, and emergency call-outs.
