Responsibilities

• Provide attentive pet care including feeding, walking, playdates, in home care
• Engage pets with stimulating activities to promote mental and physical health
• Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques and animal handling skills
• Monitor pet health and behavior, reporting any concerns to supervisors
• Maintain clean and play areas to ensure a hygienic environment
• Support pet sitting services for clients by caring for animals in their absence, ensuring their comfort and safety

Skills

• Experience in dog handling, pet grooming, or pet sitting with a strong understanding of animal behavior
• Ability to perform animal restraint safely and effectively
• Heavy lifting capability for moving supplies or assisting with larger dogs
• Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members
• Animal care background including kennel experience, veterinary experience, or general pet care expertise desired

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
