Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and engaging PGT Science Faculty Teachers (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) at the higher secondary level. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering interactive and hands-on lessons, fostering scientific curiosity, and contributing to a stimulating and enriching learning environment that aligns with the "studio" approach to education.

Responsibilities:

Curriculum Planning and Implementation:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive and engaging lesson plans for Physics/ Chemistry/Biology, adhering to the school's curriculum framework and incorporating best practices in science education.
  • Integrate practical activities, experiments, and project-based learning to enhance student understanding and application of scientific concepts.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom.

Instructional Delivery:

  • Deliver creative and interactive lessons that make concepts accessible and exciting for students.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods including laboratory work, demonstrations, group discussions, multimedia presentations, and field observations.
  • Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific inquiry among students.

Laboratory Management:

  • Oversee the maintenance and proper use of the science laboratory.
  • Ensure all experiments are conducted safely, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Manage and procure necessary lab equipment and consumables.

Assessment and Evaluation:

  • Design and administer regular assessments, including quizzes, tests, practical exams, and project evaluations, to evaluate student understanding and progress.
  • Provide constructive and timely feedback to students, identifying areas for improvement and encouraging growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of student grades and attendance.

Student Engagement and Support:

  • Foster a classroom environment that encourages scientific curiosity, exploration, and a love for learning.
  • Provide individualized attention and support to students as needed, addressing their doubts and helping them grasp complex scientific principles.
  • Organize and supervise science-related extracurricular activities, clubs, or competitions.

Parent Communication:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with parents through regular communication, parent-teacher meetings, and progress reports.
  • Share updates on classroom activities and student academic progress

Collaboration and Professional Development:

  • Work collaboratively with other teachers, academic coordinators, and school administration to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
  • Participate actively in school events, staff meetings, and professional development programs to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on scientific advancements and pedagogical trends.

Adherence to Policies: Adhere to all school policies, administrative procedures, and the code of conduct.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduation (M.Sc. or equivalent) with Physics/Chemistry/Biology as core subjects (essential).
  • Professional Training: B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) (essential) with Science as a teaching methodology.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of teaching experience as a PGT Science in a recognized school, preferably with a CBSE or similar curriculum.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong subject matter expertise in Physics/Chemistry/Biology.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Ability to simplify complex scientific concepts and make them engaging for students.
  • Effective classroom and laboratory management skills.
  • Strong pedagogical skills and ability to employ diverse teaching methodologies, especially hands-on and experiential learning.
  • Proficiency in designing and conducting effective assessments.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
  • Proficiency in using basic computer applications (MS Office, online learning platforms).
  • A genuine passion for science education and student development.

Salary:

INR upto 50,000/- per month.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
