JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Export Marketing Manager
Department: International Marketing
Reporting To: Director / Owners
Location: Head Office / As per Business Requirement
Purpose of the Role
The Export Marketing Manager will be responsible for international market development, overseas customer acquisition, exhibition marketing, product promotion, and relationship management to grow export sales and expand global presence of the company.
Key Responsibilities
1. Export Marketing & Business Development
- Develop and execute export marketing strategies for identified international markets.
- Identify and develop new overseas customers, distributors, and business partners.
- Generate export inquiries through digital platforms, exhibitions, agents, and references.
- Handle price discussions and commercial negotiations in coordination with management.
- Achieve export sales targets as assigned.
2. International Exhibitions & Trade Promotion
- Plan and manage participation in international pharmaceutical exhibitions and trade fairs.
- Responsibilities include:
- Identifying suitable exhibitions
- Lead generation strategy
- Product and brand promotion at exhibitions
- Represent the company at exhibitions and international meetings.
- Collect, qualify, and follow up on leads generated from exhibitions and trade events.
3. Party (Customer) Management
- Maintain strong relationships with existing international customers.
- Regular communication with customers regarding:
- Product portfolio
- New launches
- Business opportunities
- Handle customer visits, virtual meetings, and overseas travel coordination (marketing side only).
- Resolve customer commercial and coordination issues in collaboration with internal teams.
4. Product Promotion & Market Intelligence
- Promote existing and new products in international markets.
- Coordinate with internal teams to:
- Understand product strengths and positioning
- Share market feedback for new product development
- Collect and analyze market intelligence:
- Competitor products
- Pricing trends
- Market demand
5. Meeting Fixation & Presentation
- Fix meetings with overseas clients, distributors, and agents.
- Prepare and deliver product presentations, company profiles, and proposals.
- Conduct online and physical meetings and prepare follow-up action plans.
6. Branding & Marketing Support
- Support development of export marketing materials:
- Product lists
- Presentations
- Brochures
- Coordinate with digital marketing teams for international promotion.
- Support brand visibility in global markets.
7. Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Prepare and submit:
- Export marketing activity reports
- Customer follow-up and pipeline reports
- Exhibition outcome reports
- Maintain CRM or customer database for export marketing activities.

Qualification & Experience
- Education: Graduate / Post Graduate (Marketing / International Business / Pharmacy preferred)
- Experience:
- 5–10 years in export marketing / international business development
- Pharma export marketing experience preferred
Preferred Profile
- Experience in pharmaceutical formulations export marketing
- Exposure to regulated & semi-regulated markets
- Existing overseas customer or distributor network is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
