Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense prescribed medications and verify dosage instructions.
- Provide expert advice to patients on the safe use of medicines, potential side effects, and storage.
- Maintain proper documentation of prescriptions, inventory records, and billing.
- Monitor and manage inventory to ensure adequate stock of medicines and avoid expiries.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and clinic protocols.
- Check for drug interactions, allergies, or contraindications before dispensing.
- Assist doctors and healthcare staff with drug information and updates.
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards in the pharmacy area.
- Handle purchase orders and liaise with medical suppliers for timely procurement.
- Support patient education programs on health, wellness, and medication usage.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Diploma in Pharmacy (B.Pharm/D.Pharm) with valid State Pharmacy Council registration.
- Proven experience as a Pharmacist in a clinic, hospital, or retail pharmacy (freshers with valid license can also apply).
- Strong knowledge of drug compositions, interactions, and side effects.
- Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Good organizational and inventory management abilities.
