Qualification & Certification:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm)
  • Valid Registration with Karnataka State Pharmacy Council (KSPC)
  • Updated KSPC Certificate mandatory

Job Responsibilities:

  • Dispense prescription medicines to patients with accuracy and proper labeling
  • Provide guidance on correct dosage, administration, and possible side effects of medicines
  • Review and interpret physician prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
  • Maintain proper records of medicines, prescriptions, and billing as per KSPC and Drug Control norms
  • Ensure storage and handling of medicines as per regulatory standards (temperature, stock rotation, expiry management)
  • Counsel patients on health, diet, and lifestyle where necessary
  • Support doctors and nurses with pharmaceutical knowledge and availability of medicines
  • Ensure compliance with hospital/pharmacy policies and legal requirements
  • Report adverse drug reactions (ADR) when observed
  • Assist in procurement, inventory management, and stock auditing

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of medicines and pharmaceutical practices
  • Good communication and counseling skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing
  • Knowledge of KSPC norms and regulatory guidelines
  • Ability to work effectively with doctors, nurses, and patients

Experience:

  • Fresher or Experienced (preference to candidates with hospital pharmacy/retail pharmacy experience)

Employment Type:

  • Full-time / Shift-based as per hospital requirements

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
