Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a high energy Pharmacy Technician to become a part of our team! We are an independent pharmacy located in Midway, Ga who prioritizes in excellent customer service and personalized patient care. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of an awesome team. We have a full-time or part-time position available.

Our pharmacy currently operates on PioneerRx and uses an Eyecon to count medications, which means no hand counting!

Our store hours are M-F 9am-630pm, Sat 9am-1pm, and CLOSED Sun.

Responsibilities:

• Sterilize surfaces and equipment and prepare the pharmacy for opening/closing
• Greet customers and answer questions
• Receive prescriptions and check their validity
• Process prescriptions electronically and ensure all information is complete and accurate
• Resolve issues when they arise (e.g. rejected insurance claims)
• Select the appropriate medicine and measure dosages to fill prescriptions
• Sort, stock, label medication, and monitor inventory
• Undertake administrative tasks (e.g. record-keeping) as assigned
• Comply with all security measures and quality standards

• 1 year prior experience required
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Open availability Monday thru Saturday
• Works independently without direct supervision
• Works well on a team to accomplish team goals and tasks
• Excellent customer service skills
• People person
• Able to work in a fast paced work environment
• Efficient in multi-tasking and completing daily tasks
• Takes initiative
