Pharmacy Technician - Full Time

Job description

As a Pharmacy Technician at our retail pharmacy, you will provide excellent customer service while preparing prescriptions accurately. Pay rate will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Our hours of operation are M-F 8AM-6PM and Sat 8AM-1PM.

Other duties include:

• Engaging with customers in person and over the phone
• Creating and maintaining customer relationships
• Preparing medications in an accurate and timely manner
• Receiving and processing orders from vendors
• Performing point of sale tasks
• Collaborating with others to meet pharmacy goals and needs
• Ensuring all regulatory standards are met
• Other duties as needed
• Works every third Saturday

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills required
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred
• Problem solving ability
• Computer skills - Pioneer experience preferred
• Great attention to detail
• Understanding of medical terminology
• Exemplary attendance record
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work well with a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $25.00 per hour

Experience:

• Pharmacy technician: 1 year (Preferred)
