Paul's Photo is a small business in Torrance, CA. We were established in 1961 and pride ourselves on being an active part of our community. The Creative Photo Academy was establised in 1988 and offers classes, events, travel, and the gathering of all levels of creative minds in a fun, expressive, and open environment.

You will handle new class and workshop registrations, work with instructors to design and schedule new classes, assist in handling marketing for our class calendar, along with other tasks. You will coordinate speakers and special events and assist with preparations for onsite events.

This position also manages all social media and online marketing for the Creative Photo Academy, including our two Facebook pages, bi-monthly newsletters, and Instagram. A typical day will include everything from creating new marketing materials for around the store (class flyers, posters, etc), to updating the Creative Photo Academy website, to emailing teachers about scheduling classes, to setting up the classroom for an upcoming workshop, and more! This is an exciting, multi-faceted position that offers a new experience or challenge every day.

You are the ideal applicant if you are able to work independently, problem solve, have a keen eye for detail, and can carry out projects in a friendly, fast paced environment.

The applicant should be proficient in Word, Excel, WordPress, Constant Contact, Instagram and the other primary social media sites. Familiarity with Photoshop, WordPress Plugins and basic code (html/css) is a plus. Background in photography is also a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
