Job Title: PHP – OpenCart Developer

• Location: Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi.
• Job Type: Full-time & On-site.
• Salary: 100k to 120k.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled PHP Developer with strong expertise in OpenCart (mandatory). The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining OpenCart-based eCommerce websites while ensuring performance, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and customize OpenCart (frontend & backend).
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented PHP code
• Develop and enhance themes, extensions, and modules.
• Integrate payment gateways, shipping APIs, and third-party tools.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical and performance issues.
• Follow best practices in testing, CI/CD, and version control.
• Optimize website performance, security, and responsiveness
• Align solutions with business goals, support marketing/automation initiatives, and recommend tech improvements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in OpenCart (version 2.2.0.0) development & PHP.
• Strong command of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Proven experience with OpenCart 2.2.0.0 development and customization
• Understanding of MVC architecture
• Experience with third-party APIs and integrations
• Familiarity with Git/version control systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
