Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner

Pacific Medical Group is hiring Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for acute inpatient services and outpatient clinic and dialysis services. As a PA / NP, you play a direct role in a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to make every aspect of patient care exceptional. Our nephrologist team of the facilities will train you to ensure you have the highest level of comfort and confidence within the practice. We dedicate ourselves to supporting our patient’s independence and activity while helping them to choose the best treatment options and to make it a success.

Responsibilities Include:

• Take history and perform Physical exams on all patients as needed
• Order Labs, X Rays, CT Scans, US, MRI, and be able to understand the results
• Order medications and as needed and make referrals to other specialties
• Understand the fundamental application of dialysis and other Renal Replacement Therapies.
• Be able to recognize Hypertensive emergencies, and other emergencies
• Make in- patient rounds and it will be the PA/NP’s responsibility to write a progress note or dialysis note on all consulted patients. It would be the PA/NP’s responsibility to write all new consults and communicate with the nephrologist for his or her recommendations, Make daily rounds with the PA/NP on call
