The Rehab Telecaller is responsible for managing patient communication related to neurorehabilitation services including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, cognitive therapy, and post-surgery follow-ups. The role involves scheduling appointments, coordinating with therapists, ensuring continuity of care, and maintaining patient engagement through courteous and proactive telecommunication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to:
  • Book and confirm appointments for rehabilitation therapies.
  • Follow up on missed sessions or ongoing rehab programs.
  • Explain therapy packages, session frequencies, and treatment timelines.
  • Educate callers on various rehabilitation services offered (e.g., stroke rehab, spinal injury recovery, Parkinson’s care).
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions in the hospital management system.
  • Coordinate with therapists and department heads for slot availability and scheduling conflicts.
  • Support patient adherence to treatment plans through timely reminders and motivational conversations.
  • Collect and document patient feedback on therapy sessions.
  • Address common queries related to therapy goals, duration, pricing, and post-treatment care.
  • Promote rehab-related awareness campaigns, workshops, or patient education sessions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum 12th Pass or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred: background in healthcare, psychology, or social work).
  • Experience: 1+ year in a medical call center or rehabilitation setting preferred.
  • Languages: Proficient in English and Kannada (Hindi/Tamil/Telugu is a plus).
  • Skills:
  • Strong phone etiquette and listening skills.
  • Empathy and understanding of neurological conditions.
  • Familiarity with rehabilitation terms and scheduling software.
  • Ability to multitask and manage patient flow efficiently.

Work Environment:

  • Full-time, hospital-based position.
  • May involve working in shifts, weekends, and on rotational basis.
  • Collaborative interaction with rehabilitation team members (therapists, coordinators, doctors).
