Pipe Fitter – Industrial Division
APC Construction

APC Construction is seeking an experienced Pipe Fitter to join our Industrial Division. This position is responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems used in industrial facilities and construction projects. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical ability, can read blueprints, and is committed to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine pipe layout and installation procedures
• Measure, cut, thread, and assemble piping using hand and power tools
• Install, align, and secure piping systems, valves, supports, and related equipment
• Perform hydrostatic and other pressure testing on piping systems
• Work with welders and other trades to complete piping installations
• Ensure all work is performed according to safety standards and project specifications
• Inspect and maintain installed piping systems as needed

Qualifications

• Previous industrial pipe fitting experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and isometric drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work in industrial environments and outdoors in varying conditions
• Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver materials and equipment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Climbing, bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces as required
• Ability to work at heights when needed
