Role Summary

To deliver an accurate demand and supply plan across assigned categories/channels, ensuring optimal inventory availability, improved sell-through, and enhanced profitability by aligning buying, supply chain, and commercial teams.
Should have capabilities to work on Space planning tool through which we can optimize the inventory with maximizing the Sales and profitability.

    Responsibilities

    Develop, review, and update demand forecasts (monthly/quarterly) using historical sales, market trends, and promotional calendars.
    Drive forecast accuracy and reduce bias through collaboration with Buying, Marketing, and Supply Chain.
    Build and manage the Weekly Sales, Stock, and Intake (WSSI) for categories.
    Monitor and control OTB spend, ensuring alignment with sales targets and margin goals.
    Provide inputs for range planning, assortment depth, and seasonal buys.
    Ensure right stock allocation across stores, e-commerce, and wholesale/distribution channels.
    Monitor stock levels, replenishment cycles, and ageing inventory to improve stock turns.
    Partner with logistics & supply chain to ensure timely product availability. Analytics & Reporting
    Generate and present business reports (sell-through, stock cover, GMROI, PSFPD, etc.).
    Identify trends, risks, and opportunities, recommending actionable strategies.
    Partner with Buying, Category, Finance, and Operations teams to drive commercial performance.
    Support promotional and marketing campaigns with robust stock planning.
    Drive alignment between supplier lead times, store demand, and sales goals.
