Planning and Projects Control Assistant Manager

Al Jizah, Egypt

Job Purpose

To oversee and manage the successful delivery of projects by ensuring effective planning, monitoring, and coordination across all functions. The role focuses on aligning project execution with company objectives, optimizing resources, mitigating risks, and ensuring contractors and internal teams adhere to quality, cost, and time standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and critical milestones to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to support overall company objectives.
  • Plan and track manpower and material requirements, ensuring availability and monitoring productivity rates.
  • Evaluate contractors based on quality, cost, and time performance, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Coordinate between headquarters and project departments to maintain alignment and efficient workflow.
  • Compile project data, prepare detailed project briefs, and deliver progress, cost, and risk reports to management.
  • Investigate delays across construction, engineering, procurement, or governmental processes and implement corrective actions.
  • Oversee handover processes and coordinate with CRM teams throughout all project phases.
  • Develop and issue the annual projects plan, including cash flow management and integration of new scopes.
  • Establish and implement contract risk management policies and procedures.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of contractual aspects and provide guidance on related matters.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a reputable university.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Project management, Contract Administration, or Risk Management certificates are preferred.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
