Planning & Design Expert (SCADA/BMS)

We are seeking a Planning & Design Expert (SCADA/BMS) to lead the planning, design, and optimization of SCADA and BMS systems across our motorway and toll plaza projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all systems are designed for reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency, while meeting project requirements and industry standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and documentation of SCADA and BMS systems for motorway and toll plaza projects.
• Develop system architecture, control logic, and network layouts for monitoring and automation of infrastructure systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and technical evaluations to support system design and integration.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and operational requirements for SCADA and BMS systems.
• Collaborate with O&M, R&D, power, and ICT teams to ensure seamless system integration and performance optimization.
• Provide technical guidance for the deployment, testing, commissioning, and validation of SCADA/BMS systems.
• Evaluate existing systems, identify design gaps, and propose enhancements or upgrades for better efficiency and reliability.
• Prepare technical specifications, control diagrams, and detailed design documentation.
• Support the development of preventive maintenance strategies and SOPs for SCADA/BMS operations.
• Train and mentor operational and technical teams on system functionalities, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and stakeholders for design approvals, system procurement, and technical coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, Instrumentation, or related engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SCADA/BMS system planning, design, or commissioning for infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record in SCADA/BMS system design, integration, and optimization.
• Hands-on experience in industrial automation, control systems, and monitoring solutions.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in SCADA and BMS design, including hardware selection, control logic, network architecture, and system integration.
• Proficient in PLC programming, HMI design, and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, BACnet, etc.).
• Hands-on knowledge of building automation systems, monitoring systems, sensors, and control devices.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and system specifications.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational procedures of SCADA/BMS systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to lead technical teams and work independently under demanding project timelines.

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
