Planning Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Planning Engineer with strong experience in interior fit-out, joinery, and design and build projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing project schedules, monitoring progress, coordinating with site teams, and ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed baseline project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Develop activity sequences, durations, resource loading, and project milestones.
• Monitor and update project progress on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Identify delays and propose recovery schedules or corrective actions.
• Coordinate closely with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams.
• Track material submittals, approvals, production, and installation schedules.
• Prepare internal and client-facing progress reports.
• Analyze risks and support project teams with mitigation plans.
• Ensure all planning activities align with interior fit-out and joinery workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in interior fit-out or joinery projects.
• Strong knowledge of project phases: design, shop drawings, production, installation, and handover.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Excellent command of Excel and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
