Planning Engineer

We are hiring a Planning Engineer for our esteemed client in Qatar. The candidate should be able to lead the Turnaround Planning Team and coordinate closely with QatarEnergy to manage planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting of turnaround activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead turnaround planning team and liaise daily with QatarEnergy.
• Develop and maintain turnaround schedules and work programs.
• Prepare progress reports, histograms, manpower curves, and S-curves.
• Monitor schedule, progress, delays, manpower, equipment, and durations.
• Analyse project performance and highlight deviations or risks.
• Maintain planning records and provide required data to QatarEnergy.
• Ensure planning deliverables are aligned with project milestones and turnaround objectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc. / B.E.) in Engineering with a minimum of 14 years of experience in refinery/petrochemical projects
• Strong hands-on experience in: Primavera P6 & Microsoft Project (latest versions)
• Proficient in planning reports, dashboards, and progress tracking tools.
• Strong command of English (spoken & written).

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 10 months

Pay: From QAR6,000.00 per month
