Planning Engineer

Position: Planning Engineer (Consultant)
Project Type: High-Rise Residential Building Construction
Location: Dubai
Experience Required: 7–10 Years (minimum 3 years in high-rise residential projects)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join the Consultant team for high-rise residential developments. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing, monitoring, and validating contractor schedules, progress, and claims to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve contractor baseline programs, revised schedules, and recovery plans.
• Assess contractor resource loading, methodology, and construction sequencing.
• Monitor project progress and validate reported progress against site conditions.
• Conduct delay analysis reviews and evaluate Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
• Verify critical path, float consumption, and mitigation proposals.
• Prepare independent planning assessments and monthly progress reports for the Client.
• Participate in progress meetings and provide planning advice to the Client.
• Ensure contractor compliance with contract specifications and planning requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong experience in planning and monitoring high-rise residential towers (20+ floors preferred).
• Prior experience working with engineering consultants, PMC, or supervision consultants.
• In-depth understanding of construction sequencing (structural, architectural, and MEP works).
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of delay analysis techniques and contractual procedures (FIDIC,Bespoke,DREC).
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in multi-tower or large residential developments.
• Familiarity with risk analysis and forensic schedule review.
• Strong presentation skills for client reporting.

Pay: Up to AED23,000.00 per month
