Planning Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Planning Engineer to join our construction team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, monitoring, and updating project schedules, integrating cost and quantity data using CCS Candy , coordinating with project stakeholders, and ensuring timely project execution in line with contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project .
• Prepare baseline programs, recovery schedules, and revised programs as required.
• Integrate cost and quantity data using CCS Candy to support project controls.
• Track project progress, identify delays/risks, and propose mitigation measures.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, QS, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with schedules.
• Prepare periodic progress reports, S-curves, and dashboards for management and clients.
• Conduct delay analysis and assist in preparing Extension of Time (EOT) claims when necessary.
• Support project controls and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3–8 years of UAE/GCC experience as a Planning Engineer in building construction projects.
• Strong experience in Primavera P6 (mandatory), MS Project , and MS Office.
• Hands-on experience with CCS Candy software for cost/quantity integration is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and project management principles.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
