Planning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Planning Engineer to oversee project scheduling, resource management, and cost control for construction projects in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project planning, monitoring, and reporting, with a proven ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules, including baselines and progress tracking
• Monitor project execution and compare actual performance against planned schedules
• Prepare recovery programs and mitigation plans to address delays or resource constraints
• Coordinate with site teams, consultants, and clients to optimize resource allocation and task sequencing
• Generate weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc progress reports for management review
• Support project claims, Extension of Time (EOT) submissions, and variation analysis
• Ensure compliance with contractual planning requirements, project standards, and best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• 5-7 years of experience in civil engineering project planning within the construction industry
• Strong expertise in Primavera P6 and MS Project
• Solid understanding of project scheduling, cost control, and resource management principles
• Proven experience in preparing baseline programs, monitoring progress, and implementing recovery plans
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, coordination, and reporting skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with project teams, management, and external stakeholders

Pay: KD800.000 - KD1,000.000 per month
