Planning Engineer

Job Title: Planning Engineer – Fit-Out & Marble
Location: Sharjah, UAE
Salary: AED 6,000 – 7,000 per month

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Planning Engineer with experience in Fit-Out and Marble projects to join our team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely project completion while coordinating with site and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, develop, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, and other departments to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Identify project delays and recommend corrective actions.
• Track manpower, material, and equipment utilization against the project schedule.
• Assist in resource planning and allocation.
• Participate in project meetings and provide planning updates.
• Ensure project timelines comply with contractual requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation related to planning and project progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of UAE experience as a Planning Engineer in Fit-Out and Marble projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Good understanding of project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
