Planning Engineer Construction

We are seeking a highly experienced Planning Engineer to join a leading construction company in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring large-scale construction projects across the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules using planning software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Prepare baseline programs, recovery programs, and revised schedules as required.
• Track project progress and analyze schedule performance against the baseline plan.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and delay analysis reports.
• Identify project risks and provide mitigation strategies to ensure timely project completion.
• Monitor resource allocation including manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Support tender planning, cost estimation, and project scheduling during the bidding stage.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines, contractual obligations, and company standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the UAE construction industry.
• Proven experience working as a Senior Planning Engineer in large construction firms.
• Strong expertise in Primavera P6 scheduling and project controls.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred:

• Experience with large-scale infrastructure, building, or civil projects in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, delay analysis, and claims preparation.
