Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced Lead Planner within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be based full time in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

- Prepare Planning Package – Baseline Project Schedule, Engineering Documents Deliverables Register (EDDR), Progress Measurement System, S-Curve, Manpower Histogram, Project Calendar
- Prepare Weekly Progress Report, Monthly Progress Reports, MIS reports
- Prepare Planning documents for Proposals – Bid Schedule, Manpower Deployment Plan, Manpower Histogram, S Curve
- Prepare Weekly Cost Reports based on Earned Value Management
- Prepare EPC Implementation Schedule with Standard Productivity norms and logics
- Prepare Organization Staffing Plans and Resource Planning
- Analyzes project risks and develop mitigation plans
- Update and maintain accurate updated schedule, progress statistics, S curves and prepare forecasts of trends
- Act as a focal point for engineering discipline leads regarding scheduling and progress issues.
- Be particularly diligent in recognizing and reporting to Project Management potential problems in all phases of the project
- Contribute to the change management process, analyzing and reporting schedule impacts to the project
- Understand all relevant documentation pertaining to the project including scope of services, conditions of contract, project execution plan, etc.
- Assist management in Decision Making and Perform any other support functions as directed by the Management

Expected:
- Bachelor’s in Engineering
- Minimum 15 years Engineering Planning / Cost Estimation / Quantity Surveyor experience (Feasibility /
- Concept, Pre FEED, FEED, Detail Engineering Projects)
- Competent / proficient user of Primavera, MS Excel, MS Power point, MS Access, and MS Word, and MS Project
- Advanced user of MS Excel, MS Access, Python
- Exposure in preparation and negotiation of extension of time claims
- Cost Estimation skills
- Schedule Risk Analysis Using Primavera Risk Analysis
- Construction / Fabrication Knowledge
