Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or related discipline)
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in construction/engineering projects
- At least 8 years of experience in project planning and cost control management, preferably in real estate projects
- Experience in Oman/GCC region is highly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project schedules and baseline programs using Primavera P6 / MS Project
- Monitor and control project progress, ensuring alignment with approved schedules
- Prepare and analyze project progress reports, dashboards, and KPIs
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely planning, execution, and delivery
- Identify potential delays and risks, and propose mitigation and recovery plans
- Manage cost control processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Review contractors’ schedules and ensure compliance with project requirements
- Support project management in decision-making through data analysis and reporting
Technical Requirements:
- Strong expertise in planning, scheduling, and project controls
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and other planning tools
- Solid understanding of construction sequences, methodologies, and resource planning
- Knowledge of earned value management (EVM) and cost control techniques
- Familiarity with contract requirements (FIDIC or similar standards)
Coordination & Leadership:
- Ability to coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
- Lead and manage planning engineers and project control teams
- Ensure proper integration between planning, cost, and procurement functions
Reporting & Communication:
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients
- Present project status, risks, and forecasts clearly to stakeholders
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Pay: RO800.000 - RO1,300.000 per month
