Planning & Project Control Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Planning & Project Control Engineer to manage project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring for steel structure, PEB, and construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing project schedules, tracking progress, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare project baseline schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project
• Develop detailed work breakdown structures (WBS) for project activities
• Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
• Analyze project delays and recommend recovery plans
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams
• Track material delivery schedules and manpower deployment
• Conduct look-ahead planning and resource planning
• Prepare S-Curve, manpower histogram, and progress tracking reports
• Support management with project forecasting and planning strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Construction Management
• 3–6 years of experience in Planning Engineer role
• Experience in Steel Structure / PEB / Construction projects preferred
• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 / MS Project
• Experience preparing project schedules, WBS, and progress reports
• Good understanding of construction sequencing and project lifecycle
• Strong analytical and reporting skills

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Steel fabrication & erection planning
• Experience in industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects
• Ability to manage multiple project schedules
• Strong communication and coordination skills
