Plant Engineer

Job Summary:
The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, managing resources, and leading plant operations to achieve organizational goals. This role requires strategic planning, leadership, and operational excellence to optimize productivity and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operations Management:
• Plan, organize, and control all plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and inventory management.
• Ensure production schedules are met efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Monitor operational performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
• Quality and Compliance:
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and industry regulations.
• Implement and maintain ISO and safety standards, regulatory requirements, and environmental policies.
• Team Leadership and HR Management:
• Lead, train, and motivate plant staff to achieve performance objectives.
• Conduct performance evaluations and manage workforce planning, recruitment, and employee development.
• Maintenance and Safety:
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of plant equipment.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Promote a safe working environment and conduct regular safety audits.
• Budgeting and Cost Control:
• Prepare, manage, and control the plant budget.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
• Oversee procurement and inventory to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Drive initiatives for process optimization, automation, and operational excellence.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other productivity improvement methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum [3] years of experience in plant operations or manufacturing management.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
