Plant Engineer

The Plant Engineer will lead the Maintenance and Engineering team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for reducing downtime, driving maintenance excellence, and leading innovative engineering projects to keep operations efficient, safe, and state-of-the-art.

What You’ll Do

• Lead capital projects from concept through completion.
• Develop and implement Preventive & Predictive Maintenance, TPM, and other systems.
• Manage and mentor the maintenance team, fostering a safety-first culture.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues with both short- and long-term solutions.
• Track and report KPIs to drive continuous improvement and equipment reliability.

What We’re Seeking

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related field) with 8+ years of experience.
• 2+ years of leadership or project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical/automation systems, PLCs, and instrumentation.
• Ammonia Refrigeration experience is a plus
• Proficiency with AutoCAD
• Proven expertise in maintenance systems (TPM, PM, predictive maintenance).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends, as needed.
