Plant Head - Aluminium Industry

Key Responsibilities

1. Overall Plant Operations

• Run daily production activities to achieve production goals and delivery schedules.
• Ensure optimal utilisation of machines, furnaces, tooling, and manpower.

2. Production & Process Management

• Plan production schedules and resource allocation.
• Monitor process parameters and productivity to reduce defects and increase yield.

3. Quality Control

• Enforce quality standards and work with quality teams to meet industry and customer specifications.

4. Safety, Health & Environment (HSE)

• Implement and ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental norms, and legal requirements.
• Lead safety audits and promote a culture of workplace safety.

5. Cost & Budget Management

• Prepare and manage plant budgets.
• Control operating costs, identify cost-saving measures, and improve efficiency.

6. Team Leadership & Development

• Lead managers, engineers, technicians, and operators.
• Foster skill development, performance management, and teamwork.

7. Continuous Improvement

• Drive lean manufacturing, process optimization, and strategic enhancements.
• Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).

8. Stakeholder Coordination

• Collaborate with supply chain, sales, maintenance, and upper management for smooth operations and growth strategies.
