Plant Manager

Nordex is global leader in wind turbine manufacturing, and we are excited to announce that we are expanding our footprint in Türkiye with a new blade production plant in İzmir. As we are growing with a new production plant, we are looking for a qualified & experienced Plant Manager to be responsible for the following daily operations.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the plant to achieve production objectives while ensuring full compliance with Nordex’s safety, quality, budgeting, and environmental standards.
• Oversee blade manufacturing operations by delegating responsibilities effectively through key managers.
• Manage plant resources including personnel and equipment to support all operational areas efficiently.
• Foster a strong Safety and Quality culture by defining and implementing relevant measures.
• Drive continuous improvement by applying LEAN manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, ensuring world-class production standards.
• Collaborate with headquarters and the local management team to implement and monitor key improvement initiatives.
• Develop and execute strategies for business growth and process optimization, aiming to maximize output and minimize costs without compromising safety or quality.
• Monitor financial performance and operational systems to ensure transparency and alignment with strategic goals.
• Ensure company policies, standards, and applicable laws and regulations are well understood and consistently followed across the plant.
• Work closely with global teams to address operational issues and provide regular reporting.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in managing blade manufacturing operations is a must
• Prior experience with having an active role for the initial planning of operations & processes for a production plants is a bonus
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, motivate, and manage cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with LEAN manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Solid understanding of safety, quality, and environmental standards in a production environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global and local teams.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and performance monitoring.
• Fluent in English is a must
