Job Summary
The Plant Operations Coordinator provides multifaceted support across various departments including shipping, sales, quality, and safety. In addition to traditional clerical responsibilities, this role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate records, processing documents, and ensuring operational flow across multiple functions. The Plant Operations Coordinator serves as a foundational position designed to expose the employee to a broad range of responsibilities, with potential for future growth into roles aligned with demonstrated strengths and interests.

Essential Job Duties
Assist operations team in various tasks including shipping, inventory, quality, and safety.
Reconcile invoices and financial documents with precision and attention to detail.
Receive, sort, and distribute incoming documents, ensuring proper filing and timely delivery.
Scan and digitize paperwork, creating electronic copies for efficient storage and retrieval.
Enter test reports and other relevant information into the system accurately and in a timely manner.
Reconcile and distribute monthly inventory and sales reports.
Assist the Sales Department to help improve operational flow between departments, including expediting buyouts and fabrication orders.
Communicate with outside vendors to expedite customer orders.
Answer incoming phone calls and provide courteous and helpful assistance to callers.
Assist with general office tasks, including photocopying, faxing, and maintaining office supplies.
Collaborate with colleagues and support team members as needed to ensure efficient office operations.
Perform other general office tasks as assigned, including filing and supply ordering.
Provide plant employee reporting to the Manager of Plant Operations.
Required Skills:
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in business or related field preferred.
Prior administrative or clerical experience, preferably in an operations or warehouse setting.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn internal systems quickly.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Positive, team-oriented mindset with a strong customer service focus.
