Job Responsibilities – PLC Programming Officer
- Develop, modify, and optimize PLC programs for automation systems to ensure efficient and reliable machine operations.
- Troubleshoot PLC-based equipment, diagnose issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Configure and maintain industrial control systems—including HMIs, SCADA, sensors, and communication modules.
- Conduct routine inspections and performance testing of automated machinery to ensure proper functionality.
- Collaborate with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to support process improvements and automation upgrades.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as program backups, wiring diagrams, configuration files, and change logs.
- Ensure all PLC and automation work meets safety standards, quality requirements, and compliance regulations.
- Provide technical support and training to maintenance staff for PLC-related troubleshooting and operation.
- Participate in installation, commissioning, and integration of new automation equipment and production lines.
- Continuously evaluate existing control systems and recommend enhancements for better efficiency, reliability, and cost savings.
