Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance and Repair:

o Oversee the maintenance, repair, and servicing of all construction machinery and mechanical systems, including excavators, batching plants, cranes, and other site equipment.

o Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and ensure timely rectification to minimize equipment downtime.

o Implement preventive maintenance schedules to enhance equipment life and reliability.

2. Operations Management:

o Monitor and manage the performance of machinery to ensure optimal efficiency and safety.

o Coordinate with site teams to plan equipment deployment as per project requirements.

o Maintain records of daily equipment operation, maintenance, and repair logs.

3. Inventory and Spare Parts Management:

o Manage the inventory of spare parts, lubricants, and tools required for maintenance operations.

o Coordinate procurement of necessary spares and ensure timely availability without affecting operations.

o Maintain accurate documentation of materials used and track consumption for cost control.

4. Compliance and Safety:

o Ensure all machinery and equipment adhere to safety and operational standards.

o Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with company and statutory norms.

o Promote safe working practices among machine operators and maintenance teams.

5. Vendor and Contractor Coordination:

o Liaise with equipment suppliers, service vendors, and contractors for maintenance support and technical consultation.

o Evaluate vendor performance and ensure cost-effective and quality service delivery.

6. Reporting and Documentation:

o Prepare maintenance reports, breakdown analysis, and cost reports for management review.

o Maintain asset registers and documentation related to equipment inspection, calibration, and certification.

Desired Candidate Profile:

· Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

· Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in Plant & Machinery maintenance within the construction or infrastructure industry.

· Skills & Attributes:

o Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems used in construction equipment.

o Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

o Familiarity with equipment documentation, scheduling, and reporting procedures.

o Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

o Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
