POSITION PROFILE

The Pool Attendant’s job is to monitor the pool and terrace to ensure that resort guests have a pleasant experience. Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests in all recreational activities and areas by expressing an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude. Attendant must maintain proper pool towel supplies by working with housekeeping and maintain organization of the pool area. Also, assist guests with their needs and keep the pool environment safe and clean for all to enjoy.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Maintain a safe and clean pool area at hotels, resorts, and private functions.
  • Welcome guests and attend to their needs.
  • Set up the furniture and equipment, conduct routine pool inspections, and ensure that the

swimming pool area is neat and organized. Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Answer any questions guests may have about the pool, its hours, or amenities.
  • Enforce all pool rules and regulations to ensure the safety of guests.
  • Assist guests with lounge chairs, umbrellas, and other poolside needs.


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required Experience:
  • Prior experience with pools/decks, beaches, fitness centers and guest service is preferred. Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to perform critical analysis and manage wide-range of information.
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills that properly reflect the Foundation Image. Listen effectively.
  • Communicate information and hotel services to management, staff and guests. CPR and Lifeguard training is a plus, but not necessary

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Continuous Standing as needed
  • Lift, pull, push, bend, and move items to support the hotel and outlets
