About The Role
The Pool Supervisor
reports to the Manager of Beach/Pool/Recreation and is responsible for the guest experience as it relates to beach and pool operations and adherence to standard operating procedures.
Position Responsibilities

Responsible for guest safety in beach and pool areas.

Monitor pool chemicals as required.

Schedule team members according to business volumes.

Monitor and notify management of all out of order equipment, while promptly placing an approved out of order sign on equipment in all recreational areas.

Always observe weather and operating conditions and suspend operations during hazardous conditions or inclement weather.

Promote positive guest relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient service.

Evaluates team member performance and assists in coaching and development of team members.

Maintain and monitor inventory levels for all required items.

Other duties as defined by the upper management team
Essential Functions
-
Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and hectic environments.

Exposure to outside weather elements.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Must be able to stand, sit, bend and be able to move throughout the property.
-
Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
-
Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours.

Physically capable of using the required equipment and/or tools specific to the position.
Requirements
What's Required
-
Minimum one (1) year of supervisory experience in high volume resort, hotel, or cruise line required.

Excellent problem-solving and decision- making abilities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
-
Ability to effectively communicate in English (Read, Write, Speak & Understand).
-
CPR, CPO, and first aid certifications preferred.
