Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities
-  Develop and implement strategies to optimize the cards portfolio performance, including pricing, promotions, and product enhancements.
- Lead and mentor the cards portfolio management team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, and customer service, to enhance product offerings and customer experience.
- Monitor and report on portfolio performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management to drive strategic decisions.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies, maintaining high standards of governance and risk management
Knowledge and Experience
-  12+ years of experience in cards portfolio management or a related field, with a proven track record of driving business growth and achieving targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Experience in developing and launching new card products, including credit, debit, and prepaid cards.
- Strong understanding of financial metrics and performance indicators, including Net Interest Margin (NIM), Fee Income, Charge-off Rates, Delinquency Rates, Average Spend per Card, Activation Rates, and Customer Retention Rates
- Familiarity with card management systems (CMS) and payment processing platforms.
- Knowledge of fraud detection and prevention tools, as well as risk management systems.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements in the UAE
Mandatory Skills** 
- In-depth knowledge of the cards market, industry trends, and regulatory environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis and portfolio management tools, Excel, and Tableau.
