PR Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Title: PR Manager

Reports to: Senior Communications Manager and Directors

Location:Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

KEY ATTRIBUTES | QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in PR, marketing, or other related field
  • Minimum 5-6 years of PR / Marketing experience
  • Agency experience is a plus for understanding communication principles and agency functions
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills
  • Arabic proficiency is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Proven track record in managing clients and media relations
  • Extensive press and social contacts in GCC
  • Strong understanding of the luxury sector and market insights
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage team members effectively
  • Experience with crisis management and media strategy development
  • Flexible, versatile and copes well under pressure to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
  • Proactively identify challenges and propose solutions to address client needs
  • Driven, ambitious, and enthusiastic about the world of PR and luxury
  • Flexibility to travel for work as required

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Successfully lead the management of client accounts, ensuring the successful execution of PR and communication strategies
  • Lead the implementation of strategic communication plans tailored to client objectives
  • Lead client calls and strategy meetings when necessary, ensuring clear communication and alignment of deliverables
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior managers and executives(if applicable), fostering professional development within the team
  • Proactively identify media opportunities, develop impactful storytelling angles, and drive high-value media coverage
  • Oversee writing and distribution of communications material, press releases, Q&A, speeches, presentations and collateral materials of clients
  • Oversee monthly coverage reports, analysing media coverage
  • Lead the planning and execution of events, activations, and press engagements for clients
  • Play an active role in crisis communication management, providing clients with guidance and response strategies
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with media, influencers, and key industry stakeholders
  • Support new business development, including pitching to potential clients and contributing to agency growth
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging PR opportunities to enhance client strategies
