We are looking for a proactive and creative PR Specialist to manage and enhance the public image of our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing effective public relations strategies, building strong media relationships, and ensuring positive brand positioning in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage PR campaigns to support brand awareness, product launches, and corporate reputation.
- Draft and distribute press releases, articles, and media statements.
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and media outlets.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare PR performance reports.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align PR activities with overall brand strategy.
- Manage and respond to public inquiries and media requests in a timely manner.
- Organize and support events, conferences, webinars, and networking sessions to promote the company.
- Monitor and manage the company’s online reputation across digital platforms.
- Assist in preparing crisis communication plans and act as a point of contact during PR-related issues.
- Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new PR opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- 2–4 years of proven experience as a PR Specialist, preferably in a software house / IT industry.
- Strong media network and relationships with press and influencers.
- Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills (English is mandatory).
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Experience in crisis communication and reputation management.
- Familiarity with digital PR tools (Cision, Meltwater, PR Newswire, etc.) and social media platforms.
- Creative, proactive, and detail-oriented personality.
- Media Outreach: Build relationships with media outlets and influencers to secure backlinks and press mentions.
- Profile Management: Enhance public image and secure positive media coverage.
- Content Collaboration: Create press releases, articles, and blogs optimized for SEO.
- Reputation Management: Monitor and improve online reputation, addressing negative content.
- SEO Alignment: Ensure PR efforts support SEO strategies for better search rankings.
- Campaign Analytics: Measure and report on PR campaign performance.
- Social Media Integration: Boost media coverage and engage with followers.
- Crisis Management: Safeguard brand reputation during negative publicity.
